˜ Colors are one of the most important elements of interior design, due to their strong

influence on a person's emotions or her power in their impact on the designed spaces.

It also adds joy to the narrow space, fills large spaces and gives it a warm feeling.


Colors are a necessary method and tool to control the place and design it to serve the type of function and activity. Such as the use of vibrant colors in the living room for the diversity of family activities in, to give it a wave of vitality and movement. Moreover, the use of calm colors that help to relax in the bedroom is one of the fastest factors in reaching to human feelings and influence them.


Therefore, when you will choose it, you have to choose carefully and study it to be suitable for your own design and to avoid randomness, which is one of the most important causes of poor design,

So how can we choose the colors that suit our homes and us?


How do we classify colors?

˜We can say that we have three classifications of colors. Firstly Neutral colors: it is any color from which a neutral gray color radiates, bright or dark, and includes white, black and gray gradations, it is a colorless system without pigment, neutral black can be obtained from mixing three basic colors (pigments), which are red, blue and yellow, and in different proportions.

Therefore, black or white colors are just shades of complex colors, not original. Secondly, The Cold colors that fall under the shades of blue, purple, and green are cool colors, and reflect a feeling of sadness and cold like the color of the sky, and they are the colors that give off negative radiation. Finally Warm colors, If you want a suitable way to choose quickly colors, nature is a good choice for color studies, They are all the colors that fall under the shades of red, yellow and orange, and give a feeling of enthusiasm, warmth and anger like the sun, which are the colors with positive radiation.


What is the Psychological influence of colors?

The effect of colors on our psychological side is divided into two types. Organisms physiological effect, i.e. the effect of color on a direct member of the human body, such as the effect of blue shades on calming the human nervous system, and the effect of using red color on increasing blood pressure because it causes the heartbeat to accelerate.

Moreover, a psychological effect that is represented in sensory impressions such as giving a sense of the space of the place when using light shades of pure blue. comfort and relaxation of green tones, and the fun and activity of orange tones, the effect of a particular color may differ from one person to another, so the use of yellow shades for some gives a feeling with activity, vitality, fun and others, it gives a sense of distaste, discomfort and anxiety.


How to choose the color that suits you and your room?

There is a much number of colors, which you can choose to design your home. They can be limited to the primary and secondary colors as the base for the rest of the colors. Therefore, we have six basic effects and choices.

If you are looking to make the place full of enthusiasm, fun and encouraging communicating like halls, then you should choose yellow. As for you want it to reflect the strength of emotions, red is the best solution.

On the other hand, blue is a symbol of calm, tranquility and peace, as it is best for offices in order to increase productivity, as well as quiet rooms. Green is a symbol of money and nature. Health and tranquility also relieve depression and it is suitable for you if you are seeking to make the place a sustainable character. As for if you are looking for excitement and enthusiasm, orange is the best in making the place warm and give feeling away from danger. So in the end what is your favorite color?
